One size fits all crocheted slouch ribbed beanie pattern

One size from 2 years old onwards (stretchy model)
Hook 4.5mm
2.5 balls of 100% dk wool for body, 1.5 ball for pompom
Rib stitch
Tension swatch in dc (double crochet) rib stitch: 19sts, 27 rows = 10x10cm square

Make a rectangle of 34 cm height by 37 cm width

Pattern:
Start with 66ch (one of which is a turning chain) (height of hat)
For the rib stitch always remember to only work into the back loop of each stitch!
Foundation row: 1dc (double crochet) into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each of the next 64ch (makes 65dc), turn.
Row1: 1ch (turning chain), 1dc into each of the next 65sts  working only into the back loop of each st, turn.
Repeat row1, 99 times in all.
Slip stitch in last stitch leaving a 2 metres long thread to assemble.
Slip stitch side on the inside to make up hat.
Gather and sew the top making sure you don't overlap ribs.
Don't worry about the remaining hole as the pompom will sit nicely on top of it.
To make a big bobble draw around a CD to make cardboard templates.
Before cutting the pompom make sure you stick a small cylinder (glue stick, pen...) in the middle to avoid the threads from going wild.

Firmly fix the bobble on top. Weave in ends.
To wear with or without a fold.

Faux snow Möbius crocheted scarf pattern

At long last I get to post this pattern in English to keep warm in those last few weeks of cold weather.

Faux snow Mobius pattern Width 22cm, length 200cm 
8X50g balls 4ply 100% wool (4 white, 4 black) 
Hooks 5 and 6mm 
Work both threads together 

Make a strip of about 22cm wide by 200cm long. 

Start with 39ch with hook 5. Turn 

Foundation row: with hook 5: work 1htr (half treble) into the 3rd ch from hook, work 1htr in each of the next 7ch, with hook 6: work *1tr (treble) into the next ch, 1dc (double crochet) into the following ch*, rep (repeat) from *to* into each of the next 18ch, 1tr into the next ch, with hook 5: 1htr into each of the last 8ch.

Row 1: with hook 5: work 2 turning ch, 1htr into back loop only of each of the next 8htr, with hook 6: 1dc into first tr, 1tr into the following dc, *1dc into next tr, 1tr into next dc* rep (repeat) from *to* into the next 16sts, 1dc into last tr, with hook 5: 1htr into back loop only of each of the last 8htr.

Row 2: with hook 5: work 2 turning ch, 1htr into back loop only of each of the next 8htr, with hook 6: 1tr into first dc, 1dc into following tr, *1tr into next dc, 1dc into next tr* rep from *to* into the next 16sts, 1tr into last dc, with hook 5: 1htr into back loop only of each of the last 8htr.

Repeat row 1 + row 2, 120 times (240 rows in all) untill strip is about 200cm long.
Fasten off leaving a tail of about 120cm for joining both ends.
Twist one end of the strip once then sl st (slip stitch) together to make up your infinity scarf.
Weave in ends.

Crocheted toddler chiné leg warmers pattern

Leg warmers pattern
Size 12 to 24 months
1x50g ball of red 4ply wool 1x50g ball of off-white 4ply wool
Hooks 4 and 5mm Tension: row 1-8=5cm. Use any sizes hooks to obtain right tension.
Work both threads together.

Make two squares of 20X20cm.

Start with 38ch with hook 5.
Foundation row: with hook 4: work 1dc (double crochet) into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc in each of the next 7ch, with hook 5: work *1tr (treble) into next ch, 1dc into next ch* rep (repeat) from *to* into each of the next 14ch, 1tr into next ch, with hook 4: work 1dc into each of the next 12ch, turn.

Row 1: with hook 4: work 1 turning ch, 1dc into back loop only of each of the next 12dc (rib sts for top of calf), with hook 5: work 1dc into first tr, 1tr into next dc, *1dc into next tr, 1tr into next dc* rep from*to* into each of the next 12sts, 1dc into next tr, with hook 4: work 1dc into back loop only of each of the next 8dc (rib sts for ankle), turn. 

Row 2: with hook 4: work 1 turning ch, 1dc into back loop only of the next 8dc, with hook 5: work 1tr into first dc, 1dc into next tr, *1tr into next dc, 1dc into next tr* rep from*to* into each of the next 12sts, 1tr into next dc, with hook 4: work 1dc into back loop only of the next 12dc, turn.

Repeat row 1 + row 2, 16 times (32 rows in all) until 20cm long.
Fasten off leaving a tail of about 1.25m. Sl st (slip stitch) together to make up on the inside.
Weave in ends. Turn inside out.

Crocheted ribbed bonnet pattern

One piece bonnet pattern
Size: 9 to 24 months (quite stretchy because of the nature of the rib stitch)
Hook 4mm
2x50g balls of 100% dk wool
Rib stitch
Tension swatch in half treble rib stitch, 22sts, 18rows = 10cm, hook 4mm

Start with 184ch
For the rib stitch remember to only work into the back loop of each stitch!
Foundation row: (WS, wrong side) 1htr (half-treble) in 3rd ch from hook, 1htr into each of the next 181sts, sl st (slip stitch) into last st, fasten off, turn work (182htr).
Row 1: (RS, right side) Join yarn into back loop of 51st st (counting from the right), 2ch (counts as first htr), 1htr into back loop of each of the next 81sts (makes 82sts), turn.
Row 2: 2ch, 1htr into back loop of each of the next 82sts, turn.
Row 3-20: Rep (repeat) row 2, 18 more times, 1sl st into last st, fasten off leaving a 80cm  tail  to sl st together at he end, turn.
Back of the bonnet.
Row 21: (RS) Join yarn into back loop of 30th st (counting from the right), 2ch (counts as first htr), 1htr into back loop of each of the next 23sts, turn. (makes 24sts)
Row 22: 2ch, 1htr into back loop of each of the 24sts, turn.
Row 23 and 24: Rep row 22
Start of the decreasing for the back of the bonnet.
Row 25: 2ch, miss first st, 1htr into back loop of each of the next 21sts, miss one st, 1htr into back loop of last st, turn.(22htr)
Row 26: 2ch, 1htr into back loop of each of the 22sts, turn.
Row 27: 2ch, miss first st, 1htr into back loop of each of the next 19sts, miss one st, 1htr into back loop of last st, turn.(20htr)

Monter 184 mailles chaînette
Pour le point de côtes toujours piquer le crochet sous le brin arrière de la maille!
Rang 1: (envers du travail) 1db dans la troisième maille (en piquant le crochet sous le brin arrière de la m), 1db dans chacune des m de montage (sous brin arrière) (182db en tout), terminer par une mc (maille coulée), couper le fil, retourner.
Rang 2: (endroit), piquer dans la 51ème m (en partant de la droite) 2 ml (maille en l'air) sous le brin arrière (compte pour la 1ère db), 1db dans chacune des 81m suivantes (sous brin arrière)(82 m)
Rang 3: 2ml pour tourner, 1db dans chacune des 82 m (sous brin arrière)
Rang 4-21: Répéter rang 3, 18 fois. Terminer par une mc, couper le fil en laissant une longueur de 80 cm pour l'assemblage, retourner.

J'ai fait mes essais à petite échelle, il me reste quelques modifications à y apporter avant de les crocheter en taille réelle et de partager avec vous les patrons de ces petits béguins. I made up my new patterns on a small scale, I need to slightly modify them before I can share with you those bonnets instructions in real size.

Patron couverture au crochet / Crocheted cot/lap blanket pattern

Je termine tout juste mon long ouvrage au crochet de l'été. En voici le patron super simple.
I have just finished my long summer crochet project. Here is my simple pattern for you.

Rectangle de 80x125cm
20x50g pelotes 100% laine (dk)
Crochet n°5
Echantillon/tension: 20m, 17 rangs= carré de 10cm de côté

Patron:
Monter 162 mailles chaînette. Tourner
Rang 1:1db (demi-bride) dans la 3ème ml de la chaînette, 1db dans les 159 prochaines ml.
Rang 2: 2ml pour tourner, 1db dans les 160 prochaines m en crochetant seulement dans le brin arrière de chaque maille (point de côtes)(160db)
Répéter rang 2, 209 fois
1mc (maille coulée) dans la dernière maille, couper, rentrer les fils
Pour celles qui crochètent plus lâchement, un crochet n°4 sera plus adapté

Enfin, le petit pantalon artycho au crochet est né (taille extensible de 6 à 18 mois, parfait pour les volumineuses couches en coton lavables )j'ai pas mal tâtonné pour la forme et suis rès contente donc d'avoir terminé ce projet/patron au crochet qui s'étalait sur la longueur. Il me reste maintenant à le lanoliser (petite recette de ma douce belle-soeur) pour rendre à la laine son imperméabilité originelle. Pure laine Phildar, colori chameau, offerte d'ailleurs par cette même généreuse belle soeur.
At last, the little artycho crochet trousers are done (extensible size 6 to 18 months old, perfect for the bulky washable cotton nappies too). It took me a few attempts to make the right shape I am so pleased to have completed this long-time project/pattern. I need to lanolise them now (following a recipe from my sweet sister in law) to give the wool its waterproof qualities back.

Un petit tour de cou ocre au crochet (patron artycho ultra simple que je mettrai en ligne très prochainement), des chaussettes artycho qui ne devraient pas tomber et un chemisier fait main vintage col pétales boutonné dans le dos avec lequel j'habillais mes poupées. La campagne est blanche de givre ce matin, l'hiver peut s'installer, mon bébé n'aura pas froid...une fois que j'aurai revu le patron des chaussettes.
A crocheted ocre neck warmer (very simple artycho pattern that I shall post shortly), artycho socks made to measure that shoul not fall off and a handmade vintage petal collar shirt from my own dolls' wardrobe. The country side is white with frost this morning winter shall come my baby will be warm...after I rethink the socks pattern.
