Plaisir simple.
Pâte à modeler maison:
Dans une casserole mélanger 140g de farine, avec 140g de sel, 2 cuillers à soupe d'huile végétale et 2 cuillers à café de crème de tartare ou crème de tartre, ajouter 140g d'eau et quelques goutes de colorant alimentaire. Sur feu moyen, remuer continuellement jusqu'à ce que le mélange se détache en une boule homogène, pétrir la pâte pour l'assouplir avant utilisation. A conserver dans une boite hermétique.

Homemade playdough:
Put 1 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of salt, 2 tbs of vegetable oil and 2tsp of cream of tartar into a saucepan, add 1 cup of water and a few drops of food colouring , over low heat stir until the dough stiffens, cool then knead until smooth, ready to play. Keep in an airtight container.

conundrum

J'ai du mal à mettre en forme un patron simple de pantalon, mais grâce à mes ébauches je partage bientôt avec vous une petite idée toute simple à crocheter. I struggle a bit with designing a simple trousers pattern thanks to all my drafts I came up with a simple crochet idea I should share with you soon.

Samedi dernier le dernier jour de l'été tout naturellement. Toujours pas de chauffage central. Last Saturday the last day of summer naturally. Still no central heating.

Un petit pull en demi-brides commencé au mois de mai l'année dernière terminé hier, alors de voir qu'il lui va encore et qu'elle trouve ça plutôt drôle, je suis comblée. Je vous souhaite un chaleureux week-end. I have found my crochet hook again pushed by both desire and necessity...it is already gone cooler here. I am working on a simple ribbed trousers pattern at the moment.

plus de tracteur par ici... Les téléphones, trouvaille de vide-greniers, ont mon âge, les rideaux étaient là bien avant nous. no more tractors out here... The telephone set found in a car boot sale is my age. The curtains were here long before us.

De retour ici tout doucement. On vit encore dans les cartons, après avoir joyeusement arraché toutes les moquettes, on espère maintenant installer le chauffage central avant l'hiver... Back here slowly. We are still unpacking, we have happily ripped off all the carpets and are now hoping to install the central heating before winter.
