One size fits all crocheted slouch ribbed beanie pattern

One size from 2 years old onwards (stretchy model)
Hook 4.5mm
2.5 balls of 100% dk wool for body, 1.5 ball for pompom
Rib stitch
Tension swatch in dc (double crochet) rib stitch: 19sts, 27 rows = 10x10cm square

Make a rectangle of 34 cm height by 37 cm width

Pattern:
Start with 66ch (one of which is a turning chain) (height of hat)
For the rib stitch always remember to only work into the back loop of each stitch!
Foundation row: 1dc (double crochet) into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each of the next 64ch (makes 65dc), turn.
Row1: 1ch (turning chain), 1dc into each of the next 65sts  working only into the back loop of each st, turn.
Repeat row1, 99 times in all.
Slip stitch in last stitch leaving a 2 metres long thread to assemble.
Slip stitch side on the inside to make up hat.
Gather and sew the top making sure you don't overlap ribs.
Don't worry about the remaining hole as the pompom will sit nicely on top of it.
To make a big bobble draw around a CD to make cardboard templates.
Before cutting the pompom make sure you stick a small cylinder (glue stick, pen...) in the middle to avoid the threads from going wild.

Firmly fix the bobble on top. Weave in ends.
To wear with or without a fold.

Patron bonnet à côtes au crochet taille unique

Taille unique (modèle extensible) dès 2 ans
Rectangle de 34cm de hauteur par 37cm de largeur
Crochet n°4,5
2,5 pelotes de 50g de 100% pure laine (dk) pour le bonnet, 1,5x50g pelote pour le pompon
Point de côtes
Echantillon en point de côtes ms (maille serrée), 19m x 27 rangs: carré de 10x10cm


Patron:
Monter 66 mailles chaînette (hauteur du bonnet)
Pour le point de côtes toujours piquer le crochet sous le brin arrière de la maille!
Rang 1: 1ms (maille serrée) dans la 2nd m (maille) de montage, 1ms dans chacune des 64m suivantes.
Rang2: 1ml (maille en l'air) pour tourner, 1ms dans chacune des 65m suivantes (en piquant le crochet sous le brin arrière de chaque maille).
Répéter rang2, 99 fois. Terminer par 1mc (maille coulée) dans la dernière maille, couper le fil en laissant une longueur de 2 mètres pour l'assemblage.
Assembler pour former un tube dans le sens de la hauteur en mc sur l'envers. Ne pas rentrer le fil. Retourner. Sur l'endroit, avec ce même fil et une grosse aiguille fermer le sommet en prenant soin de ne pas superposer les côtes, le petit trou restant sera caché par le pompon.
Pour le gros pompon utiliser un CD pour tracer les gabarits en carton. Coincer un tube de colle ou autre cylindre au centre du pompon avant de couper les brins pour les garder en place.

A porter avec ou sans revers.

Plaisir simple.
Pâte à modeler maison:
Dans une casserole mélanger 140g de farine, avec 140g de sel, 2 cuillers à soupe d'huile végétale et 2 cuillers à café de crème de tartare ou crème de tartre, ajouter 140g d'eau et quelques goutes de colorant alimentaire. Sur feu moyen, remuer continuellement jusqu'à ce que le mélange se détache en une boule homogène, pétrir la pâte pour l'assouplir avant utilisation. A conserver dans une boite hermétique.

A simple pleasure.
Homemade playdough:
Put 1 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of salt, 2 tbs of vegetable oil and 2tsp of cream of tartar into a saucepan, add 1 cup of water and a few drops of food colouring , over low heat stir until the dough stiffens, cool then knead until smooth, ready to play. Keep in an airtight container.

On adhère enfin à la modernité, le chauffage central est installé. Je continue quand même à collectionner les couvertures. Le jeté en laine bleu vient de la boutique National Trust ici. conundrum

J'ai du mal à mettre en forme un patron simple de pantalon, mais grâce à mes ébauches je partage bientôt avec vous une petite idée toute simple à crocheter. I struggle a bit with designing a simple trousers pattern thanks to all my drafts I came up with a simple crochet idea I should share with you soon.

Samedi dernier le dernier jour de l'été tout naturellement. Toujours pas de chauffage central. Last Saturday the last day of summer naturally. Still no central heating.

Un petit pull en demi-brides commencé au mois de mai l'année dernière terminé hier, alors de voir qu'il lui va encore et qu'elle trouve ça plutôt drôle, je suis comblée. Je vous souhaite un chaleureux week-end.
