Influence

Une couronne avec oreilles incorporées en préparation pour le costume de Cerys qui rêve d'être le Roi des Elfes personnage tiré de Bilbo Le Hobbit de J R R Tolkien pour la journée mondiale du livre ce jeudi. Déguisement largement inspiré par la très belle capuche confectionnée et offerte par Gina Paillette. Je vous montre l'ensemble bientôt.

Making a papier mâché crown for Cerys's costume who wishes to be the King of The Elves from The Hobbit by J R R Tolkien for World Book Day this coming Thursday. Costume widely inspired by a beautiful hood made by Gina Paillette. I shall share with you pics of the lot when it is ready.

Midsummer parade bis

Une très belle parade où l'on devait retrouver de nombreux camarades d'école...seulement une copine a pointé le bout de son nez...toute notre petite famille s'est donc vue embarquée dans cette joyeuse chevauchée colorée (pas de photos de nous trois bien trop occupés à suivre la cadence).Aussi je vous présente Woolly, chaleureux coup de coeur parmi les géants..

A beautiful parade where we were ment to meet with lots of kids from school...only a friend of Cerys turned up and ourselves...So all our little family had to join the fun and colourful ride (couldn't take any pictures of us all well to busy following the rhythm). Also let me introduce Woolly a warm favourite among the giants.

Midsummer Parade

Cerys participe à la Midsummer Parade de Chester aujoud'hui en portant une tête de cheval (me dit-elle) réalisée à l'école. On espère y voir parmi les nombreux Géants de papier mâché l'Homme Vert que nous avons restauré à l'atelier. Je vous souhaite un joyeux week-end.
Cerys is taking part in the Chester Midsummer parade today, carrying a hobby horse she made in school. I will be on the look among the Giants for the Green Man we mended at the workshop. Hope you have a joyful weekend.
