Combine caster sugar (350g), vegetable oil (250ml) or melted butter (225g), 4 eggs and finely grated carrots (350g). Mix separetly plain flour (225g), 1.5 tsp bicarbonate of soda, 1.5 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp groung allspice and 1 tsp ground cinnamon. Add to the carrot mixture mixing well. Bake for 20 to 40 minutes according to the size of cake tins in preheated oven at 190°c/375°F/gaz mark 5. Serve with whipped cream, ice cream...So?
